MILLER
Sep 15, 1913-Mar 17, 2015 Miami, Florida. Albert B. Miller, age 101 passed away peacefully at the Miami VA Hospital. Mr. Miller was one of the few remaining members of this nation’s Greatest Generation having experienced the Great Depression and served in World War II. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Shinowski Miller and his daughter, Carol Ann Miller Rivera. He is survived by three grandchildren, Aimee (Lloyd) Meyers, Cherie (Matthew) Wade, and Ryan Rivera three great grandchildren, Caroline and Landon Meyers and Drayden Wade, and a great many nephews, nieces and cousins from the Pittsburgh, PA area. A Memorial Mass will be said on Tuesday, 10am April 7h 2015, at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church at 5909 NW 7th St., Miami, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher House Foundation at the Miami VA Hospital.
