What can I say about this wonderful and dear friend who I have known for most of my adult life, My golfing partner for 30 years ,and constant dining companion.
Al was always by my side volunteering at our church for our annual festival, He was always the first one there to help me cook at my annual Christmas breakfast, He was like a father to my 4 boys who adored him, his personality was infectious.
He made friends with everyone he met , be it a waitress, a starter on the golf course , a car salesman ,he would befriend them.
Al has left us too soon even though he was 87 he was always very strong, I am being very selfish but since Al has been ill for these past few months , it has created a void in my life, all I can do is relish the memories of our good times together.
REST IN PEACE my dear friend.
