Aida Garcia's Obituary
August 12, 1930 – April 9, 2021
Always & Forever in our hearts!
Aida Garcia, wife of Ricardo Garcia, passed away peacefully in her home on April 9, 2021.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Cuba and exiled to the United States with her husband and elder son Rick in 1956. They lived in New York and then welcomed another son Eddy. Aida along with her husband and her two sons later made Miami, Florida their home.
Aida’s passion first and foremost was her family, she is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, her sons Rick and Eddy Garcia along with their spouses Mary and Kassandra Garcia. Aida will forever be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Janine and Ricky Garcia Jr, Evan, and Ella Garcia, along with her great grandchild Alexa Garcia. Aida loved her extended family and Eberto and Reina were nephews that were loved as her own children. Aida will be greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her oldest grandchild Jeremy Garcia.
Aida was sunshine on a cloudy day to anyone who was lucky enough to know her, she loved to cook for her family, sew, garden (roses and orchids were her favorite flower) and she just loved sports. The Miami Heat and the Miami Marlins were a favorite pastime. Cheering for her home team was a familiar sound in their home. Aida’s favorite vacation was cruising, her happy place was always when she was able to go to a destination with all her loved ones surrounding her.
Her celebration of life will be on Wednesday April 14th at 4:00 PM, the family will receive friends and family at her viewing the same day from 1:00PM to 6:00PM.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted Matthew 5:4*
