Agnes Helena Garcia's Obituary
Agnes Helena Garcia, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2025, with her loving family. Agnes was born on August 12, 1925, in Corning, New York. Her parents, Dominic Quagliana and Mary Agnes (Galbo) Quagliana, were immigrants from Sicily. Agnes was one of seven children and the last surviving sibling.
She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary until she married Frank G. Garcia. She became a loving mother to MarvieAnn Garcia-Rodriguez (Juan J. Rodriguez). She was a devoted wife, mother, and “Nona” to her two grandchildren, Marissa Elena Rodriguez Pellegrino (Michael Anthony Pellegrino) and Ethan Bryce Rodriguez. She was recently blessed and able to meet her great-grandson, Enzo Michael Pellegrino.
The family asks for prayers as they navigate this very difficult time as her passing was unexpected.
Her funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 25th, at 11:00 AM at Church of the Little Flower, 2711 Indian Mound Trail, Coral Gables, with interment at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Agnes Helena Garcia.
