My first memory of Matt is of a young, tall goofy kid from Buffalo, always wearing his Buffalo Bills sweatshirt. We had such great adventures in college, always trying new things, whether it was Amway, or selling termite warranties on the phone! We reconnected many years later on Facebook, and I regret the way we parted, over a silly political difference. The one thing that always stood out about Matthew was his unshakable Christian faith and belief in family, and I’m sure those things were a comfort to him as he battled the disease that took his life. I went to services at my synagogue last night and said the mourners Kaddish for Matthew, all my love to him and his family.
