Our community is less for the passing of a good and gracious man, Joe Adams.
I often wonder how many of his students went on to find their lives in teaching. I suspect there is a good number of us. There's not a week that goes by that I don't reflect on the wit and patience of Mr. Adams. When I wonder what I might say to a student who is difficult to teach or hard to reach, I stop and wonder "How would Mr. Adams have handled this kid?" Invariably, the right way to go about things presents itself.
My heart goes out to his family in their time of loss.
With profound respect and affection,
David##imported-begin##David Altshuler##imported-end##
Jordon and I express our sincere sympathy to the family members upon the passing of your special Joe. We know that this is a difficult time for all of you and hope that expressions of friends many help to ease the pain of your loss. His extended illness was indeed difficult for him and for all of you too. Seeing a loved one ill for so long is not easy for them nor for the family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
With love, Jordon and Margaret Steele##imported-begin##Jordon and Margaret Steele##imported-end##
