John and Charlie, your mother was such a blessing to our dept. I remember every time I saw her, she always had a smile and I will always remember how she would call me: Don Alessandri. I was blessed to have been able to pray with her many times, and I was blessed beyond words to be there with all of you as she left us. I will continue to pray for all of you. I hope you have been able to see how special she was to all of us. She will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing her with us for so many years. God bless you always.

I was hired by Miami Beach Police in 2021. Since I have been working in MBPD, Martha was always happy to see all of us come in. It was a nice to always being greeted with a big smile when I would start my shift at work. Months ago she told me how important family was to her and to take care of my family. She also told me how hard she works at age 78 and was proud doing so. I am very grateful to have met such an amazing person. She lived a very good life and she enjoyed being surrounded by officers that were always happy to see her. I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet such an amazing person, she will not be forgotten.
Martha’s daily smiles and Hellos will be sorely missed!
My condolences to your family. Martha was always a pleasure to see when walking the hallway or entering the station. Always happy and always said hello in passing. We will miss her.
