Cousin Fred was always the entertaining, fun and thoughtful oldest cousin of the Lamb family. We will miss him very much.

Fred Lamb worked for DJJ in Cutler Ridge right behind my office in 1999-2001. He would bring in his kids, on his caseload, to The Advocate Program to sign up for classes. He was always pleasant and seemed so dedicated to his kids. I now work for DJJ in Deland, Florida and have been working for DJJ for the past 4 years as a JPO. Fred would be happy that he made such an impact on me all those years ago. He was dedicated to public service. I am so sorry for his loss. God speed, Mr. Lamb. I will see you on the other side one day and thank you for your kindness and compassion when trying to help troubled children.

There can be no memory of Fred without joy in my heart. Yes, we shared the loss of family and friends but with great love and comfort for each other we managed through the pain. Our friendship began in North Miami 65 years ago. We bonded in a strong group of neighbors growing up together. Especially, Fred and Ronnie George always including me in so many crazy fun antics, all the while protecting me like their kid sister. We never lost touch with each other in spite of our separate lives. We shared so many meaningful events in six decades near and across the miles! In the past 15 years, thanks to emails and mobile phones, Fred and I were able to keep up our communication. I will miss him dearly, he was and will always be a bright star in my life. I will treasure our happy times together, his wonderful sense of humor and his unforgettable laugh. Rest in peace my dear friend, I love and miss you, Eileen
Freddy has been so special to me ,Pam and our family . He was my best friend over 50 years. We worked together, roomed together, played together, experienced many celebrations, some sadness but never a major difference or disagreement. What a special , unique friend who always focused on bringing joy and happiness to others with his jokes, gags and laughter. We love you Freddy and your stories and humor will continue to be part of our family gatherings.

So surprised to hear of Fred's death. We have been friends with he and Sherry for many years. He and Bernie had long conversations about their favorite teams and a lot of kidding about losses.
