LLOYD JOSEPH BOGGIO

January 19, 1946 - May 6, 2022

Lloyd J. Boggio, 76, of Miami passed away May 6th, 2022. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Miami, Lloyd was a self-made business mogul and founded several successful real estate companies throughout his career. He was a mentor to many and will be greatly missed by all those he strived to make a positive impact on during his life. Lloyd was an avid poker player and a voracious reader. He loved history, sports and had a soft spot for the underdog. His Sunday afternoons were reserved for the Miami Dolphins and evenings were spent watching classic movies & old westerns with his beloved dogs, which he had many throughout his life. A generous man, Lloyd cared for his family & friends and even a stranger in need. He remained close to his elementary friends throughout his life, was loved and cherished by his children & grandchildren, and his legacy lives on through them. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Boggio; his four children, Truth, Lori, Jacqueline (Jason) Edgewater and Christopher Liptak; his 7 grandchildren, Angelica Moreyra, Lucas, Nicolas & Samantha Neubauer, Reese and Avery Edgewater and Leila Liptak; and his siblings Robert, Monica (Art) Thompson, Steve, and Donna (Greg) Boggio; his uncle Ray and many cousins.
