Joe was my high school classmate. Even as a teenager, Joe could be anyone's friend. Even if you were having a "bad day", as teens often do; you could always count on Joe for an encouraging word and a smile. Of course, the ever present twinkle in an Irish eye was apparent even then. Thank you, Joe, for leaving this old world a happier, friendlier place for your presence in it. My sincere sympathy to his family and many friends.
Joe, we're going to miss you. You have been a good friend to my family and longtime member of the South Florida Emerald Society for over 30 years. I've celebrated many occasions at The Hurricane Bar with you and Linda over the years, in addition to just showing up for Steak Night because the steaks were so good.
You always said your life was an Irishman's dream . . . you go to work at the bar, sit with your friends, and drink for free! You had a love of life and your laugh was loud and infectious. I didn't have to even see you when coming into the bar because I could just travel in the direction where the laughter was coming from and find you.
Keep the bar open for the rest of us. We will eventually meet up with you down the road a bit.

Joe was a good friend and big supporter and member of the Miami Touchdown Club. He served as a director for many years and was always involved in helping our many activities through his time and talents. A very happy and positive person and liked by all. Our thoughts and prayers for Joe and his lovely wife Linda who also has been a supporter of the Touchdown Club.
Joe, it seems like we’ve known each other forever. I remember calling you a few times, early in the morning on St. Patrick’s day to wish you a Happy St. Pattie’s day. You would get so mad at me because you had just returned home from closing the bar. You were a big part of my life because of Linda. You were the light of her eyes. You’re gone now but your memory will live on. I love you friend.
My cousin Joe…a very fun and generous man. It always makes me smile to think of him.
