IBRAHIM KHALIL GANIM

Ibrahim Khalil Ganim, 82, was born on November 6, 1939, in Ramallah, Palestine. He passed away on March 12, 2022 in Miami, Florida surrounded by his family. He was a loving man and had a thirst for knowledge, traveling the world, poetry and spending time outdoors. He was accepted into Princeton University, but chose a different path and decided to study law at Cairo University where he met his wife, Laura. They lived a great life together raising their 3 children, Dahlia, Nader and Christina between the US and Palestine. He later established his own real estate company in Palestine. He had a deep love for his homeland and was always so happy to be in Ramallah surrounded by the figs, olives, grapes, pomegranates and almonds his father planted long ago. He was adventurous, ambitious, and always chased his dreams. He taught his children to do the same, see the world with open eyes, to be proud of their history and to love all people. He was a kind, compassionate man who brought joy to all those he interacted with. Anyone who knew him was always touched by his humor, kindness, laughter and joy for life. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His strength is heroic and he will be our guiding light, protecting us from above. May his memory be eternal and may he Rest in eternal Peace. A viewing will take place on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11AM, followed by a funeral service at 12PM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral at 320 Palermo Ave, Coral Gables, Florida, 33134. Following the burial, a mercy lunch will be held at Kabobji restaurant at 3055 NE 163rd St., North Miami Beach, FL at 3PM.
