My condolences. The thing I liked best about Shula was that he did it all by the rules. That, and his teams played smart--no stupid penalties for mental errors.
My dad grew up in Cleveland and remembered him during his time with the Browns under Paul Brown. He came from a great coaching tree and was a great man who will be greatly missed.
To the Shula Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Don Shula. Don Shula was a quality guy who lived the right way.
My Best to all of you.

Coach You Were A Staple To The Dolphin Organization. God Bless You, And Your Family. So Many Memories. Love You! RIP Coach The Stadium Will Never Be The Same. 🐬🏈💙
Thank you coach for being the best coach, role model and overall gentleman the world and NFL will ever know. You won the right way. As a kid growing up in Miami Springs it was a pleasure and treat to go to "Biscayne College" or the Orange Bowl to see you coach the GREATEST team the world will ever know. I am a life long Dolfan and bleed aqua and orange, because of you and even though it will be hard to go to games and not see you there, I will still go knowing that you are watching over your beloved dolphins! Rest in Peace Coach, Job well done!!
