Alicia Adan Cardet Died peacefully in Miami on January 15, 2022. Alicia was born in Cuba, June 4, 1926 to Octavio Adan, Jaronu’s beloved doctor and Maria Josefa Freyre de Andrade She was predeceased by her loving husband Adolfo Cardet. Alicia was an airline industry executive first at Cubana Aviacion then Delta Airlines from which she retired after 27 years of service. Alicia was also predeceased by her sisters Elena and Josefina and her nephew Leopoldo Diaz She is survived by her sister Silvia (Beba) Diaz of Boston, and her 4 devoted stepchildren, Bill Cardet, Sister Lucy Cardet, Sarah Cardet, Dr. Fred Cardet and her nieces and nephews - Cesar Gomez, Elena Maria Gomez, Dr Octavio Diaz, Dr Cristina Diaz, Alejandro Diaz Alicia was the eldest of 4 sisters, and a pillar of strength for her family and friends, caring for her parents until their deaths. Alicia was loved by her husband Adolfo and by his children and grandchildren. Alicia was a spirited and inspirational person. It was truly a blessing and privilege to have known her. She will be greatly missed and eternally loved. Alicia’s strength, optimism, energy and sense of humor are an inspiration to her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 21 at 10 am at St Augustine Church in Coral Gables, FL
