I just learned today of Rick's passing from his old boss Tim Lewis while at the UTC show. I had managed the Florida Power & Light account at Tessco since 2010 until I moved to the Product side in 2018 and my new role did not afford me the opportunity to engage with customers like I had before. My deepest condolences to the family, Rick's wife and daughter. He was an awesome customer and a wonderful person. He and his team taught me so much about the Utility industry and communications systems. He was always kind and and I sure sorely missed by all who knew him.

Nick and I have had the pleasure of knowing Rick, Kara and Kendall since Kendall was cute little kid in the neighborhood. What a great family and what a wonderful guy Rick was. Always smiling, always kind and exceptional at brewing tasty brew. We are so grateful to have been neighbors by proxy through our family and their next door neighbors, Adrianna and Fred. We shared many stories at many parties. Rick will be so missed and we are fortunate to have known him. All our love to Kara and Kendall and Rick's family.

Rick was my big cusion. He was also my junk food buddie. When ever I came home to miami we would have to do a Wendy's ( we don't get Wendy's from were I live) he had an amazing outlook on life and a huge heart ♥️. I will miss him and I am heart broken for kara kendal and my aunt and cusion and her kids xxx he was a gentleman through and through xxx

The day I thought was the best memory is when Rick brought Kara and Kendall home from the hospital and I had decorated the house on the outside with a big banner "WELCOME HOME KARA AND KENDALL" in gold spray paint. He was such a proud Papa ... What a void he left, and will be dearly missed. A guy who would do anything for anyone, strangers included. I pray his flight to Heaven was swift and effortless. RIP Billie Gates I will see you in the promised land when it's my time.

Rick was my nephew, the first baby (in our family). I gave him a silly stuffed Lion and he just loved it. I took him to work with me once and he brought it with him. He was my Opie! "Few have filled my heart as you have and I am grateful for your sweet love" If you knew Rick you knew he was an original and a friend forever and after. He made you feel important. RIP my darling nephew until we are together once more.
