I loved my grandfather immensely and will miss him terribly. The way he adored me, every day of my life, will remain in my heart always. Abuelo was a beautiful soul and loved his family...especially my abuela. He once told me, with a smile and love in his eyes, "that's my woman" while pointing towards Abuela. I am fortunate to have so many great memories of him. I selfishly want to keep him here with me but I know he is in a beautiful, comfortable place. He has earned this peace.

The loss of our beloved father has left us with a deep emptiness in our hearts. Dad lived a long life and had many adventures which began as a child in Cuba. Dad was hard to read at times but one thing was un-mistakeable...he loved our mother more than life itself. Together over 60 years, no matter the challenges, he worshiped her and deeply loved his children and absolutely adored his grand-children. Dad always carried photos of his grand-children in his wallet and showed them to everyone he could get to stand still long enough to look. No man ever loved his family any deeper than our dad and we always knew it. Rest in peace, dear father, you have earned your place in heaven and will be in our hearts forever.
