Van, I am going to miss what you brought to every occasion. Your honesty and straight down the line approach was infectious and can never be replaced. I am going to miss our chats as we were alike. He was my moms baby brother.
I was born on his 15th birthday. We have shared birthdays ever since. You have been rejoined with Mom, Pat Bonnie and Grandma an Grandpa. Rest in peace Gary I will miss you deeply and your infectious laugh. I love you💕
Van will always be remembered as the sort of person you rarely meet in life, and for a personality that filled a room. He never hesitated to share his time and talents with others–through hurricanes, helping friends and family in need, or catering to a seemingly endless list of dinner guests. The impact of his life spans three generations. We're lucky to have been a part of his extended family, and to have shared many memorable and formative years with such an unforgettable man.
