Snyder, Anita Gott, 78 Passed away peacefully on November 11, 2009. Born and raised in Roanoke, VA, Anita traveled the globe extensively for 28 years as a flight attendant For Eastern Airlines. She is survived by Phil Snyder, Read Obituary
What a loss; Anita a devoted and loyal friend. Her friends will miss her zest for life. Even toward the end both she and Phil were lessons in courage. They never let up their fun banter with me. Our interaction was one of my joys.
"For the country to which she has gone, we must all someday visit."

As one flight attendant of Eastern Airlines to the family of Anita, I send my love and best wishes to you all. I did not know Anita personally but as an Eastern Flight Attendant she must of been very special. Eastern only hired the best and I am so very sorry for your loss because I am sure she is a person who left waves of love and kindness in her wake. There are no words to adequately describe Anita. She was truly one of a kind.
Her infectious laugh would captivate anyone within earshot.
I loved being around her. I always looked forward to her joyous personality and quick wit.
The NY layovers, the fun, fun,fun.
As the years passed and we, each of us, went in different directions,however, the memories will always be golden to me.
