Name: Nathan A. Moore Date: December 4th, 1913 - December 12th, 2009 Obituary: MOORE The family of Nathan Allen Moore, sadly announce his passing December 12, 2009 in Miami, Florida at the age of 96. Nathan is survived by his two sons, Timothy and James, daughter-in-law Marchant , grandson Jason, his wife Jane, and great granddaughter, Alexis. He was born in California, graduated from Occidental College and founded a construction company operating in California and Arizona. When the company began expanding in the late 1940’s Nathan moved with his wife Wanda and his two young sons to Colombia. Construction projects included dams, airports, and highways, in ten countries in Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Employees on the many projects will remember him as a legend and a pioneer, always humble and one of them. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Friday, February 5th at the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables.
